From Orbis: Go to Orbis Station & talk to the Ticketing Usher (the NPC who lets you into the various cabins, NOT the ticket seller NPC) and select the option letting you go to Mu Lung Town.

From Aqua Road: Talk to the Dolphin Taxi NPC and pay mesos to go to Herb Town. From Herb Town, talk to the Warp Assistant (the Crane NPC) to get a ride to Mu Lung Town.

Ghosts have invaded MapleSEA's towns in lieu of the coming Chinese New Year, Cai Shen (Gachapon NPC) has found a way to deal with them.
Collect 30 FirePowder Kegs from any monster and give them to him, he will set off firecrackers to expel the ghosts.

MapleSEA Patch v0.51

Dear Maplers,

There will be a game client patch and server maintenance for MapleSEA on 23rd Jan 2008, from 0300hrs (GMT +8) to 0800hrs (GMT+8). The Game Service will be down during this period. Please logout before this time to avoid any loss of items.

The upcoming patch includes:

Version 0.51

- Removal of Christmas Cash Item
- Launch of Mu Lung Town and Herb Town
- New quests available in the new towns
- New Chinese New Year quest
- Return of the Valentine’s Day quest
- New Cash Item: Lion Head Cap and Lion Hair Overall
- New Cash Item: String of Chinese Traditional Fire Cracker
- Reported bug fixed!

Why Magicians Should Max Magic Guard

I tried to take on Capt. Latanica this afternoon on my own using a combination of SR (Shining Ray) and Summon Dragon which ended in a failure when my magic guard couldn't take the second hit of its "boat" attack due to my unmaxed Magic Guard:

My Priest's Magic Guard is only capped at Level 17 (71% of damage into MP, 29% into HP).
- My HP and MP are: 1520 & 7000 respectively.
- Cpt. Latanica's "boat" attack deals 3560 damage to me of which 1032 damage is reflected into my HP (1520) resulting in a "1 hit must heal" situation.
If my Magic Guard is maxed (80% of damage into MP, 20% into HP), the situation would be very different in this case:
- Taking that my HP and MP are: 1520 & 7000 respectively.
- Cpt. Latanica's "boat" attack deals 3560 damage to me of which 712 damage is reflected into my HP (1520) which means i can take 2 hits before having to heal or consume a potion.

Uncouth Maplers

One thing i dislike about playing MapleSEA is uncouth players, here's a few examples:

1.) A priest named XXX did not cast HS on his party members on time as he was trying to get to them due to monsters / the terrain of the map. A party member, YYY (usually a DK or a Hermit), shouts: "HS!" or "ZZZ!!! HS!!!"

2.) I told a guildmember a wrong price for a Purple Cape last night, when i realised and apologised for my mistake, she typed: "ZZZ.... Moo is sabo kia!" I left the guild immediately, i won't tolerate such uncouth abuse of words.

3.) A priest named CCC partied a DK and some other jobs for a run at Papu, when CCC heals the members, they scold him, when he doesn't heal, he gets scolded as well.

There are so many many more examples i can quote.

What on earth is wrong with Maplers in MapleSEA? Can they speak more civilisedly or in a more polite way?
